Who are we?

The Therapeutic Peptide Workshop began in 2016 as an initiative of Dr. Fanny Guzmán, due to the need to share experiences in the field of peptide synthesis and its applications. Since then, it has featured prominent international speakers such as Dr. Fernando Albericio and Dr. Beatriz G. de la Torre, as well as national figures such as Dr. Marcelo Kogan and Dr. Fanny Guzmán herself, among others, from various academic and scientific institutions.

In this edition, new renowned national and international speakers join, including Dr. Sergio Lavandero and Dr. Luis Guillermo Gonzalez.

In previous editions, we have had the participation of around 100 attendees, including researchers as well as undergraduate and graduate students who presented their thesis work in poster format on the topics addressed during the workshop.

It is important to note that this event is supported by funding from the National Agency for Research and Development (ANID) through the ANILLO Project ACT210068, Fondecyt 1211482, Fondap 15130011, and Fondecyt Initiation 11221282.
