We look forward to seeing you!

Who are we?

The Therapeutic Peptides Workshop emerged in 2016 as an initiative of Dr. Fanny Guzmán, driven by the need to share experiences in the field of peptide synthesis and its applications. Since then, it has featured the participation of prominent international figures such as Dr. Fernando Albericio and Dr. Beatriz G. de la Torre, as well as national leaders including Dr. Marcelo Kogan and Dr. Sergio Lavandero, among others from various academic and scientific institutions. In this edition, new renowned national and international speakers join us, including Dr. David Craik, Dr. Ved Srivastava, and Dr. Marcelo Muñoz

In previous editions, we have welcomed more than 80 participants, including researchers and undergraduate and graduate students who presented their thesis work in poster format on topics addressed during the workshop.

The growth of our workshop into a congress arises naturally as a result of the international recognition achieved through past editions. This evolution reflects not only the event’s consolidation but also the strong sense of belonging and camaraderie that has flourished among its participants, especially within Latin American and Spanish-speaking communities. Transitioning into a congress allows us to provide a stronger, more formal, and more representative space for this expanding and increasingly robust collaborative network.

It is important to note that this event is supported by projects from the National Research and Development Agency (ANID) through the following projects: Fondecyt 1240448, Fondecyt 1251140, Fondecyt 1231468, Fondap 15130011 and Fondap continuation 1523A0008, Fondecyt 1230712, Fondecyt 1230303 and Fondecyt 1231088
