4th Workshop

Since we were still in the midst of the pandemic contingency, this 4th edition of the Therapeutic Peptides Workshop for Bioapplications was held in a hybrid format, hosted at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, with the in-person participation of our main international guests, Dr. Fernando Albericio and Dr. Beatriz G. de la Torre; in addition to the virtual participation of more than 150 national and international guests.
Thanks to advances in virtual platforms, this became a major Hispanic-American event with contributions from researchers from Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Venezuela, and Spain, requiring three full days of sessions to cover all the intended topics. This edition highlighted the growing need for dissemination platforms in the field of peptide synthesis and applications at the regional level.
It was also the first edition to offer virtual workshops on peptide synthesis and bioinformatics.
